EDITORIAL BOARD
The editorial panel of Complicity consists of:

> EDITOR-IN-CHIEF:

Deborah Osberg holds a Lectureship in Education Studies at the University of Exeter (UK). Her work is inspired by Prigoginian complexity and Derridean deconstruction and employs the closely associated notions of “dynamic relationality” and “emergence” to rethink many aspects of educational theory and practice.

As editor-in-chief, Deborah is responsible for all final editorial and managerial decisions. The role includes strategic and operational planning and development of the journal, setting the journal standards, co-ordinating the various editorial processes, supporting contributing authors through the selection and editorial processes, and ensuring the publication meets its deadlines.

> ASSOCIATE EDITORS:

William E. Doll Jr is Emeritus Professor of Educational Theory, Policy, and Practice at LSU and adjunct Professor at the University of Victoria. He has published for decades in the fields of educational curriculum and instruction. He has played major roles in three books: A Post-Modern Perspective on Curriculum, Curriculum Visions, and Chaos, Complexity, Curriculum and Culture. He has a strong international interest, is a founding member of the Chaos and Complexity SIG, and is a recipient of AERA's Division B Lifetime Achievement Award.

Donna Trueit is an independent educational researcher with a strong interest in curriculum which she conceives as a poietic space for creating "selves." Her work is inspired by principles of complexity theory, Gregory Bateson, and Charles S. Peirce. With others, she edited The Internationalization of Curriculum (Trueit, Doll, Wang, and Pinar) (Lang, 2002), and contributed "Speaking of Ghosts . . ." to Curriculum Visions (Doll and Gough) (Lang, 2002).

As Associate Editors, Bill and Donna are responsible for making recommendations on the suitability of submitted manuscripts, soliciting suitable articles, identifying suitable reviewers and contributing to the planning and development of the journal.

> SCHOLARLY COMMUNICATIONS EDITOR:

Donald Gilstrap is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Libraries for Technical Services at the University of Oklahoma. His main areas of research and scholarship focus on complexity theory in leadership and organizational dynamics, as well as nonlinear change in educational settings.

As the Scholarly Communications Editor, Don oversees scholarly communication as well as copyright and licensing issues for the journal.

> BOOK REVIEW EDITOR:

Darren Stanley is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor, Canada. He is interested in emerging understandings of healthy learning organizations through non-linear dynamics, paying special attention to notions of stress, burnout and phenomenological understandings of uncertainty and surprise.

As Book Review Editor, Darren is responsible for managing the book review process. This involves liaising with publishers to receive notification of new books for review, selecting suitable reviewers, editing completed reviews and liaising with the editor-in-chief regarding their publication in forthcoming issues of the Journal.

> INTERNATIONAL EDITORIAL PANEL:

Due to the small size of the complexity-and-education community (which is represented mostly in the USA and Canada), and in the interests of representing as wide a selection of complexity-inspired work as possible, we have an international editorial panel whose job it is to solicit appropriate articles from their geographical region. At present the panel consists of the following members:

Barney Ricca (Saint John Fisher College, New York)
M. Jayne Fleener (Louisiana State University)
Brent Davis (University of British Columbia, Vancouver)
Tara Fenwick (University of British Columbia, Vancouver)
